and Reflex Protect® User Course

About the Course

The Active Shooter/Threat Response training combined with Reflex Protect® User training provides participants knowledge and skills for before, during and after an active threat to increase survivability based on the Escape-Deny-Defend Triangle. It includes the Reflex Protect® training to certify participants in the use of Reflex Protect® which is incorporated into the Defend portion of the active threat response.

Training Topics

We begin with approximately 2 hours of detailed classroom knowledge, background and strategy, then transition to 2 hours of hands-on training in Active Shooter/Threat Response topics. There is then additional classroom instruction on Reflex Protect®, followed by hands-on practicing with Reflex Protect® inert training units.

REQUIREMENTS

*Reflex Protect® Practice Units

Institutions are expected to purchase adequate Practice Training Units for training. These will be used during the “How to use Reflex Protect®” portion of the training.

Usually groups need one Practice Training Unit for every 3-5 participants. Please discuss with a Reflex Protect® Trainer or Representative if you have questions about what you will need using the form below or emailing

Included

Two Free Trainer Certifications

This combined training comes with two Trainer Certifications. The Reflex Protect® Trainer works with your organization’s designated trainers to ensure once provided with the online resources, your trainers are comfortable that they can train others in the use of Reflex Protect®. Your trainers each receive a 2-year Reflex Protect® User Trainer certification to train members of your organization.

If your organization needs more than two trainers, additional trainer certifications can be purchased, and the Reflex Protect® Trainer will work with all designated trainers. Please discuss with a Reflex Protect® representative to ensure your organization gets exactly what you need.
